During the Visit

During the Visit: Your Teen Has a Role, Too!

  • Allow your teen to speak up: It is possible that some of the questions the health care provider asks during the annual checkup will be directed to you, some to your teen, and some to both of you. Let your teen answer as many questions as possible; empower him or her to engage with the doctor.
